i have a few and someone told me that they represent different stages of sexual intercourse that you have participated in. i told her that some middle schooler made that up at around the same time good charlotte started manufacturing pencils with their faces on them at hot topic. really, though, i think the bracelets mean absolutely nothing except they look kind of punked out and i think they started somewhere around the velvet underground back in the day. does anyone really know? maybe there is an 80s connection thrown along in there with a dash of Madonna??

Its just fashon. And some dumb middle school kids did just make that shit up. Asking why they exist is like asking why earrings exist. I dont really see them as punk or emo though, since my friends started wearing them when they were like 12 and goth. They're just bracelets.

fuck yeah... those stupid bracelets representing sexual shit is so fucking stupid. this year, at thanksgiving, i had one on, and there was a newscast on T.V about them meaning sex stuff. everyone thought i was some fucking deviant. it didn't help that i was trying to have intercourse with the turkey. fucking family!

From what I heard on the news those colours means certain things (In the middle/highschools) and if I boys breaks one of you bracelets you have to do to him whatever that colour is. Then they got banned at some schools cause people were doing it.
