I guess I can be the first one to write on here then...

I was first inspired to listen to The Used when one of my friends (Tiff) let me listen to The Taste of Ink when I was in like 6th grade. I think that was the first time I ever heard someone say fuck, haha! Ever since then I've been ever so in love with them all. Thanks Tiff Smile

Nobody inspired me to listen to them, coz when the first time i heard on the radio [buried my self alive] directly i fallin love with that song and the next day i check on their site and found them to be my fav and loving band until now. Let say , i'm a kind of person who consistent of what i choose first, so the first time i knew about them and at that second i love them.

Heard Let It Bleed on the radio in '05. It's the one and only time I've ever heard them on air, so I guess I've got the the stand in DJ to thank. So thanx Chris Ingham! But Alan Pardee's artwork actually inspired me to take a punt on the album.

I heard Taste Of Ink on the radio, and I was in for it, from that moment on.

My cousin(R.I.P) lived in Utah around the time The Used had started,he would go to lots of local shows and he was their at their first show and he video taped it(i wanna ask my aunt(who lives in utah)if she can try and find but we'll see). A couple months after that he came to visit us(in florida)and showed me and my sister stuff he had video taped and stuff including the performance. I was about 7 or 8,i didint really get into them right away but i did like their songs, and maybe a year or so after that he came back and showed me more stuff, and him and me would listen to them all the time. And ive been a fan of theirs ever since, now im 15

I had heard the taste of ink & a box full of sharp objects on the radio & my brother would play it. They were touring with Blink 182 & Taking back sunday in 2004. I liked their songs alot. But hearing Bert talk about the things he talked about made me go out & get their cd. He was just funny & amazing to me. I've loved them ever since then. I wanna see them live again.

i think it was around may or june 2005, when my friends and me drove to a nearby town, and my friend had the in love and death-album in his car. i was hooked then.
i actually heard the taste of ink as their first song, but didn't know the band back then, because my friend had burned me a CD with fucked-up mp3-data. most of the bandnames didn't show up, hehe.

My buddy had the first album and I was intrigued by the album art, so I popped it in the cd player while he was getting ready to leave. Loved it right away, saw them live shortly after and that sealed the deal.

Well, I moved to Utah from California (BIG difference) and I met this girl that like all the same stuff I liked. So her two friends, her and I went to The Black Parade tour in Utah and on the way there she put in a disk and I listened to I'm a Fake and basically melted. I told Juliet (her friend) to stop at the nearest guitar store and for the $50 I was going to spend on merch I bought a beat up Samick guitar.
