Ok, first of all, your retarded for being a member; if u don't give a fuck, then don't join, obviously something is driven you to join; and as for the matter of hating a band, hey dude they're making money and are higher up than you unless your like brad pit or someone in hollywood so just shut it; Second of all, if you were really into music as you say you are, you'd respect other people for making their own music and their own personal expressions; music is an expression; i'm pretty sure their not doing it to ruin your life. third of all, you have completely misused the definition of "emo" incorrectly. "emo" is not shit music or music about death and dying; thats not the true definition of emo; the true def of it is punk with more meaning than just political discussion. Yes, maybe the current def. 2day of emo means sad, depressed, cutting, blood, suffering, ex-gfs and all that; but either way; music wouldn't be music if it wasn't talking about something or written for a reason; all these meanings behind music and reason come from emotions in the limbic system of the human body. So don't call emo "shit music" b/c that means that every type of music including the shit that u listen to is emo if it was written for a certain reason, or therefore written at all. Now first off, I will apologize, cause I was drunk off my ass when I posted this, and had couple of drinks now.
But, Still I can say a couple of The Used older songs where Some-what decent, but I'm mainly posted this because I like Metal and Rock and Roll better then emo, and in one edition of The Rolling Stones, they gave The Used cd: The Black parade a fuckin 5, I heard a couple of their songs on mtv, and they where the worst one's out of all the one's I have heard, BUT in that same edition of rolling stones, they gave Trivium: The Crusade, a fuckin 2, mainly cause fuckin dumbasses who don't know shit about music wanted to complain and say it sounded to much like Metallica, while though he did sing like James Hetfield a bit in the songs, it sounded nothing like Metallica, instrumental wise, maybe somewhat in the throat and chest part of the vocals, but not the note part. Rolling stone a magazine that's about music, Giving a band with a lot more musical talent a 2, and a band with some musical talent a 5....The main reason I hate the used is because, YES they are fuckin emo, not fuckin punk, The Misfits, The Sex Pistols, Green day, The Offspring, they where punk. The used are Emo, they don't play music for the enjoyment, or to change something or any real reason at all, they just play so people will feel sorry for them. They just play for themselves. But now you look at Zakk Wylde, Black Label Society, how many songs has he come out with in the past few years and plus he plays guitar parts for Ozzy's songs. You know, he plays not for money, but because he loves music, but Compared to the fuckin Used, what do they have?. That's what pisses me off. And that's just one of the many bands who play cause they love it. But I will apologize, while yes it was mildly entertaining, still it was fuckin retarded and stupid of me to do something like this. So yea sorry for posting this. But still, yall say I wasted my time doing this, look at all you who wasted your time replying to this, at least I did while I was fucked up and I didn't fell like sleepin, had nothing else to do, all of you reposted this in middle of the day, when there is shit to get done. So don't talk to me about wasting time.
