i guess mine would be the ripper, that should be a song everyone relates to - time takes us all
 i also can really relate to dark days, smother me, sun comes up and i caught fire seems like i can only relate to their newer songs. |

sexy suicide...yes. that song is the HOTTEST song the used has EVER made. i dont know why, but i love the lyrics its so fucking amazing! |

The lyrics do kick so much ass... but that's what caused the conflict between sex or suicide. Cause it starts off 'when the shirt came off it was all in time' then i'm like oh.. he's fucking someone then all of a sudden "KIILLLLL SMILLLEEE CUT IT OUT FOR ME THIS TIMEEE!!" and I was all wtf?!?! haha. Then he talks about their breathing racing and im all hahahaha thats some hardcore sex. Then it goes into the hardcore chorus again... then once more I was all wtf is this about. The end TOTALLY helped me give the song a topic, when he did the little "hahahaha... smile"

What is The Taste of Ink about? Leaving Utah, which is exactly what I want to do! Utah is the worst place to live as a teen. But I'm happy to basically live like Bert and Quinn did. (Draper is just a little ways away from the mecca... Orem, which is a pretty shitty town) |

(actually thats a quote from berth about the taste of ink) well, the used wanted, needed, 2 get out of that town. it was extremely strict and no one appreciated their music, which was, and is, their life and passion. and they needed 2 get free and live their own life, not the one that was sculpted by orem. so they did, and they went from nothing to something [that was freaking awesome ^_^] but thats like one of my all time favorite song. its so inspiring, and, even better, its THE USED!!! haha u call it obsession, i call it maintaining my insanity lol |

Almost impossible to answer. In my own interpretation and in my own way, I can relate to all of their songs. I've felt close to almost all of their songs at different times in my life. It's one of the main reasons why I love them so much. When I couldn't find the words, someone else could. They've been a great help to me. Oh, how I love music.  But at this particular time the top few are...."Hard to Say", "The Lunacy Phringe", "Smother Me", "Maybe Memories", "Noise and Kisses"...Okay, see, I've started and now I'm just going to stop before it gets out of hand. srry dood, im a oblivious nutcase, deal with it. half the time i only read like half of the post anyway cuz im oblivious AND other ppl r constantly needing the computer blah blah blah. o but u wont hav 2 worry about it anymore other ppl hav laptops now yay. yeah im an insane weirdo but i DO actually relate 2 the taste of ink a lot lot LOT. |

Great song. In fact when I'm writing songs for my band (haha, I know, how cute he's in a highschool garage band) I think of that song because that message is usually the message we're trying to get across.
