Your best bet is travelling out of town to see them. That's what I did. (:
november of 2004 they were in pittsburgh. thats the farthest ive traveled to their shows. it was 9 hours or so from new jersey, when i was living in new jersey

Wrightstown. It was near trenton I believe. It was the most expensive toll i ever paid!!! we were on this one stretch of highway for like 6 hours. After that we drove to 6 or so other states for a few more shows. Lots and lots of driving. That's when gas first started getting really shitty

But hey, driving 6 hours is well worth it if you get to see The Used. I'd probably do the same thing if I could drive ;D
i actually remember it being 9 hours from NJ to Pittsburgh, not 6!! i think we were on one stretch of highway for 6 hours though, then there were other roads and highways. I wasn't driving, i fell asleep, but we left late at night, and didn't get there til the next morning. The one highway that we were on for 6 or so hours though, was the most expensive toll ever. I want to say it was between 20 and 30 dollars because we were on it for so long. After pittsburgh (not in this order) we also drove to philli, NJ, Massachusetts, maryland, and new york for the last day of the tour. (I think I'm missing one). It was a lot of driving, but a lot of fun. Super road trip!!

I personally think that tolls are ridiculous. I don't see the point in paying to drive across a stretch of highway /:
But geez, I'd love to do the same thing. Hopefully once I get my license, The Used will go one some MEGA US TOUR (or something LOL) and I'll be able to go on a super road trip following them. The only problem would be gas, since it'll probably be up to $5 by the end of the year.
-.-
yeah it was a lot of fun. it was just when gas prices started going up too! I had just quit my job. We went to 7 shows, and drove all over the place. I think It was during the first taste of chaos?? november of 04 But it was something I needed to do, considering what was going on in my life at that point. i needed to get away and do something fun. We had to sleep in my car a few nights though, and it snowed.

Yeah, but at least you'd get to have tons of fun for a bit (: quote: Well than count me in!! ... im not Kidding btw :P Just let me know wen u go and ill be some random place looking for you and then ill jump onto your moving van type thing and you can PICK ME UP!!
LOL alright, wow this is odd. Making plans to go see The Used with people you've never met before over The Used's message board. BUT, if you're really serious about going-- we can meet at one of their shows or something, and then you can put your stuff in our car and then we'd go to their next showw(s) and whatnot. You must help pay for gas though lmao
