Bert ruined the Used experience for me in Adeliade. He is one obnoxius little shit. 4 months in anticipation for the Used - and everyone in Adeliade pretty much gets a F**K You, all because the little singer nearly got hit in the face with a water bottle. That's show business!
I saw himn the next day at the hotel when he checked out and he ignored everyone. Killswitch were greatful for everyone thanking them as they left.
Even at the airport, the rest of the Used band were apologizing because of Bert's Attitude. He walked off with his hood off, snobbing everyone and refusing to sign anything. At least the rest of the band were appreciative of their fans being their.
I understand where you are coming from, but thats bert for you, and thats why their music is/was so explosive. The fucker who threw the shoe/whatever it was, shouldnt of done it, what a stupid fuck.
Yeah, the day after the Adelaide show i met them in Melbourne and Bert seemed to be in a bit of a bad mood, maybe because of the incident. Quinn apologised for his beahviour, at least he stopped to chat, Bert just kept walking.

I have to agree with "Ghost in a machine" whoever throw the bottle or watever is a fucking dick head, if u paid to see them why throw sumthin, u ruin it for everyone else, if someone threw sumthin at me i wuld have been shitty too! nuthin like that happened in perth and bert was awesome
He was embarrassed...But shit like that happens to every lead singer...Bert feels like everyone should respect him...Because he's BERT..I love the used music but i would want my favorite band to be down to earth and remember that they are human being..with or without fame you are just like us..So be a man and stop crying because of a shoe Bert...come on

I've read through a few other posts on this board and i keep noticing how people are saying "I cant imagine Bert in a mood like that" and "But when we met him he was so nice". Well, Bert is human and he most probably was having a shitty day, everybody has them so maybe instead of looking through fame clouded eyes, these people who are stating this should see that yes, Bert has good days and Bert has bad days. Dont be offended by it, he probably has pms.

i dont claim to know much about the guys, but i have heard thatg bert is a bit uh melodramatic....
but we were randomly wondering round backstage, an he walks past, i called out to him to get a photo an shit, he was like oh i gotta check something out (i guess something to do with the set up of stage), i'll see you when i come back... we didnt expect him to be back... but like 10 15 minutes later he comes back, walks up to us saying hi, how are yall, etc etc, posed for photos like a pro model, said bye an went back to his business... moral of the story... hes not a bad guy, maybe he likes to keep people guessing, i would get pissed off with kids coming up to me all the time....
When you want to be famous these are the things you go through...Fans harassing you...or haters hating you IF he don't like it....he should just drop the business..But i still like the used

That is true, many people cannot see musicians for what they really are, and that basically is humans. They are just like you and me, except they happen to have a really cool job and through that job they gain support. It probably is overwhelming occassionally for bands, to come from nothing then all of a sudden be thrust into the limelight where almost everybody knows them. Its all a bit daunting, and on some occassions probably irritating.
