Yea they played in Phoenix about 5 days after their self titled CD was released... it was pretty funny actually... they played at the same time as Glassjaw and right after Thursday (the stage next to them) so most people were over there.

There was about 15 of us watching and at one point Bert yells out "who here has our cd?" and a guy yells "I downloaded it" and bert replies "fuck that guy!"

it was pretty awesome, haha

I got into them in 2002 also. I was young, but I grew up in a 'rock and roll' family, so of course I was into rock music and shit.

My cousin actually introduced me to The Used, letting me listen to their CD and whatnot. I've been into them ever since (well obviously lmao).



I wish I could've seen them live in 2002, though. That would've been beyond amazing.

i grew up in a rock n roll family as well, my dad took me to my first show when i was 10.

i didn't go to warped in 2002, but i went every year they played after that. for the 10th anniversary (2006/2007??, i forget) they flew in and played the one show in boston, which was awesome.

i first saw the used in november 2002, when they were the 4th or 5th opening band for boxcar racer. it was the used playing first, then the movielife, h20, someone else, and boxcar racer headlining. i only watched the used though

then i saw them the next day, which was their first show ever with my chemical romance in this tiny little place in boston.

since then ive gone to every show around my area living in nh, nj, and south carolina, and traveled for a week all over the east coast from nj to pittsburgh, to mass, and everwhere in between

shit never gets old

and time flies man......

I actually haven't been to Warped since 2002.. I was either out of town.. it was too hot (phoenix in july = death).. or the bands sucked.

I haven't seen the used in a few years (really not a fan of ILAD) but the times I saw the Used between Summer 2002 - Summer 2004 were

Warped 2002..

headlined with taking back sunday, blood brothers, and new transit direction..

headlined with audiovent, unwritten law, and the distillers..

a radio station show here they headlined...

then projekt revolution..

I believe those were all of the Phoenix dates in the 2 year period... they did the tour with Box Car and the tour with 30STM in Tucson which I couldnt make
