The Dark Knight


I thought i'd start this one....
Then we can all talk about how amazing it is after tomorrow...

Who's going tomorrow?
I've had my tickets for almost 3 weeks now, and I'm going tomorrow at 3. I can hardly contain myself. Nothing will ever replace Lord of The Rings in my heart.... but this will probably be right up there!

When i bought my tickets 3 weeks ago, apparently there was some theater in NY that was already sold out of the IMAX showings for the first 3 weeks of the movie being out(and it still wasn't being released for another month). WTF. This should be insane... and i can't wait!

I love Lord of the Rings too haha.
I'm not a big fan of batman (Actually when Batman Begins came out I was so bored during the first half I tried to sleep in the theatre, and almost succeeded, although I was 10 or 11)
But I am going to see it tomorrow! If it isn't sold out..lol. I think it is going to be really good.

I'm the only person on the planet that doesn't give a flying shit about this movie.

Thank. Fucking. Raptor Jesus. I'm so sick of everyone I know and their mothers saying they're going to see this movie at midnight... I've never cared about Batman. I've only seen Batman Begins and I thought it was so boring. How many times can they beat this dead horse? "Oh, here's a guy, he watched his parents die, now he gets to fight an enemy. Now he gets to fight another enemy. Now he fights a third enemy. Okay, let's start over! lol!"

I'd rather watch all of the parody movies that are coming out ("Meet The Spartans", "Disaster Movie", etc.)

Ya, I'm gonna see it in about 10 hours and stopping by HT afterwards for an all expences paid thank god my parents are divorced spree.

Having a mom to bitch about and a dad to mooch off is great

I didn't really care for the others.... the only good one was the first. But i thought Batman Begins was great. I think this will be too. I think the hype is fucking crazy.... but that's because it's supposed to be a really good movie.
I'm going at 3 today(not midnight!). I like dark movies and i think the joker looks fucking sick. not just cause it's heath ledger, because it looks creepy and i love that.

My brothers are going to watch tonight in Canton. I don't get it either. I haven't even seen Batman Begins. Batman always looked crappy to me.

I'm finally catching up and am going to watch 300 tonight. Woo....

I just got back from it and its a definate summer blockbuster... not that its a bad thing.

Chris Bale still has his almost unpronounceable voice is still there, nothing really remarkable.

Heath Ledger, I don't care if he died but he's damn good Joker. He embodies EVERYTHING the Joker is... he's just a fucked up man trying to kill people because he can. AMAZING performance

Basically, if you like comics or action movies definate must see, if you like good acting, see it for Heath.

It was released in Australia days before everywhere else, i haven't seen it because its been sold out & too many people but i will see it. My brother works at a cinema and he saw a couple of minutes of Heath and he said he was amazing,he played the joker so well.

So I saw it. I was SOOO scared that it was going to be boring like Batman Begins.
Worst movie ever.
Anyways I actually really liked this movie.
I don't know why, but I did. Heath Ledger did an amazing job. In my opinion I think people should see it, even if you don't when its in theatres.
But for sure you need to pre-order tickets if you want to see it right now.
And Peachy- Really? I still haven't seen 300 lol. I have it recorded on the PVR but I haven't gotten around to watching it

i loved it. fucking amazing! it was perfect for batman, and i wewould totally sit thru it again, just minus the popcorn. i actually heard people applauding at the end.

PVR? What the hell is that? I have it recorded on my DVR. I just ended up taking a bath, though. I might watch it tonight...maybe. But I recorded it a while back and when I wanted to watch it, it ended up recording a minute of what was on before[it usually does that to make sure you get to see the entire movie-a minute before and a minute after] and the perfect thing was on before...Porn. I had to delete it and re-record it. Just got it back.

such a good movie. i want to see it again.

if you're not going to go just because of the hype then that's silly. its a damn good movie.

my husband and i were like 10th in line an hour and a half early. someone pulled the fire alarm about a half hour later. at that point the line was almost to the door. fire trucks came, we all had to evacuate, but the morons that work there didn't keep the line. police had to come, i thought there was going to be a riot. no one wanted to leave and they made us move out into the parking lot. you could hear people who got there way later stratigizing about how they were going to run to the front of the line. i however, handed my husband our popcorn and booked it as soon as they said we could go back in.
i was first in line at that point.... fuckers

after this weekend, this has beat every box office record ever i think.

biggest midnight opening, biggest weekend opening, most tickets sold, most money made in the first day, most money made opening weekend.

it surpassed star wars and spiderman.

It does if you set it to. and I recorded You, Me, and Dupree and I had the same problem...again! I think I just might take the setting off. It's annoying. I record off of Max and Starz. Max is the one with all the porn, but they usually have really good movies up.
